At ICSOB 2026 we are excited to present a range of awards that recognize outstanding contributions to the field of software business. These awards highlight the innovative and influential work of our community members, from groundbreaking research papers to impactful diversity initiatives.
The awards include:
- Lifetime Achievement Award: Awarded to an individual who has made significant contributions to the field throughout their career.
- VERSEN Best Research Paper Award: Awarded to the author(s) of the best research paper presented at the conference. Prize: €250
- ISPMA 10-year Most Influential Paper Award: Awarded to a paper from ten years ago that has had a lasting impact on the field. Prize: €250
- Early Career Researcher Best Paper Award: Awarded to the best paper authored by an early-career researcher. Prize: €250
- Best Poster Award: Acknowledging the best poster presentation based on thoroughness and the impact of the presented research. Prize: €250
- VERSEN Best Reviewer Award: Given to a reviewer who has demonstrated outstanding diligence and constructive feedback in the review process. Prize: €250
- VERSEN Diversity and Inclusion Theme Paper Award: Awarded to the best paper addressing issues of inclusion and diversity, enhancing the discourse within our community. Prize: €250
